The Last Post

by BJ Biz Buzz on January 21, 2010

Well, the time has come to sound the last post for our BJ Biz Buzz blog.

Sue and I had a business strategy meeting the other day and decided that we were spreading ourselves too thinly across the number of business services we were providing.

So we decided to cut back and focus on the core business of our AQ/KQ services.

One of the cut backs was the decision to stop this blog because of the time involved in maintaining it. We already have three blogs going;  Sue James, Chris Chi and Chris Chats and these take up a fair bit of time to maintain.

We going to miss our Biz Buzz and our cute Bee but sometimes very difficult decisions have to be made in the interest of running a successful business.

We hope  the resources we have provided on BJ Biz Buzz have been interesting and helpful for your business.

You can still follow us on our other blogs, twitter accounts and Facebook accounts if you are interested.

So this is our last post.

Create Goodwill With Your Customer

by BJ Biz Buzz on December 16, 2009

4 tips by Joanne Kyce on how to create goodwill with your customer that will help your business.

I particularly like the tip ‘tell the truth’.

It’s not rocket science but for some business people it’s a challenge. Especially for those  who adopt a ’sell at any cost’ mentality.

It is tempting at times to cut corners in business but if you are ever tempted to lie then remember Mark Twain’s quote ‘ when in doubt tell the truth’.

October 27, 2009 Biz Skills

Sue and I walked into a cafe the other day to order a coffee.

I thought he was bit of a ratbag because of his non existent customer service skills.
